As we discussed in our previous video, 2007 was one of the most critical years in our recent history. During this year, the 367 Crisis unfolded, the ATV-Sabah Group changed hands, the General Staff statements and ultimately the E-Memorandum were published, the Dolmabahçe Meeting, which remains a secret, was held, Republic Rallies were held, an early general election was held, and finally, the President was elected. Following all of this, it was expected that the rising political temperature throughout 2007 would subside after the elections and referendum. However, this did not happen as expected. On the contrary, the process that would lead Turkey to its next referendum began.
