Königinnenzucht Teil 1 - Weiselnäpfchen vorbereiten und umlarven

This year, for the first time, I'm raising queens using the Nicot system from my best colony (high-yielding, docile, and swarm-resistant). I moisten the artificial queen cups with wax to help the bees accept them better and then transfer the larvae. The breeding colony that will raise the larvae was queenless 9 days ago. The queen is now in a display case. I'll check after 2 days to see if the bees are raising, and if so, how many cells. To be continued...
