The “lady of the lake” is the mysterious woman associated with the legend of King Arthur. In fact, she is the one who gives Arthur his famous sword, Excalibur. Woolstenhulme does an expert job of offering great learning tools in this piece, yet it is a superb concert and festival work. All in 1st position.
