‘Navarrete’ – ‘Redecilla del Camino’. Last stage through lands of La Rioja, where vineyards and cereal fields are the highlight. Except for a hard stretch getting to ‘Alto de San Antón’, the rest of this stage had an easy profile. But again, heat was consuming all our energy and, finally, the rain made the stage shorter than usual. Amazing monuments in ‘Nájera’ and ‘Santo Domingo de la Calzada’.
