Paul, 8 years old, attends second grade and is an incredibly cheerful and outgoing child. Paul suffers from MPS II, an extremely rare disease. Four to five children are born with Hunter syndrome each year in Germany, a metabolic disorder considered incurable that causes a wide range of symptoms. Shortcomings in the healthcare system particularly affect children like Paul. Caring for those affected presents their families with significant challenges, partly due to bureaucracy in medical care. #HunterSyndrome
