Cheesecake trades blows in Motor City! (Motown Bot Showdown 2, March 2025)

Cheesecake is back in the midwest and ready to meet his new friends! This was a brutal tournament, but we're both excited to keep coming back for more in the future! PCBWay is the sponsor of this video. Check out their services for 3D printing, machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and of course, printed circuit board fabrication: https://www.pcbway.com/ The tournament is a Swiss bracket, followed by a single-elimination bracket. Each fight lasts 2 minutes. You win by disabling your opponent so they can no longer move. If a robot cannot move, it will get counted out on a ten-second countdown. Even if it can only drive in circles, that is usually enough movement to avoid being counted out. If both robots are still moving at the end of the fight, then the winner is declared by a panel of judges, who score each robot based on damage (done to the opponent) aggression (how much each robot initiates the engagements) and control (how much control you have over the fight). Drivers are allowed to tap out at any time during the fight. Drivers may also request one "unstick" per fight if their robot is stuck on the arena.
