“This Is Me” Whole School Flash Mob Music Video #IWD2022 #BreakTheBias

As an all girls international school in Jeju Island, South Korea, Branksome Hall Asia has initiated a whole school flash mob filming project with the song “This is me” from The Greatest Showman to celebrate this year’s international women’s day theme, “Break the Bias.” Under the lead of Gayeon Koh, the Head Girl of 2021-22 academic year, the dance team and the grade representatives collaborated together to choreograph and teach the dance moves prior to the official IWD2022 kick-off event on March 7th. On the day, students and teachers wore purple that symbolizes women empowerment and danced all together as one. The 21-22 and 22-23 Prefect Council members were in charge of filming and directing different grade levels during an hour-long event. This event became a milestone that strongly bonded and empowered the Branksome community, all the more.
