The Tale of RxDart - Brian Egan | Flutter Europe

We’ll start in the early days of Flutter, in the time before any state management packages were published, StreamBuilder was nowhere to be found, and Gitter was still a viable chat solution. In this Wild West, how could folks architect their apps? What kind of challenges did early adopters face and how did we attempt to solve those challenges? In this talk, we’ll hone in on one of those potential solutions: RxDart. Through storytelling and practical examples, we’ll walk through the problems I was attempting to solve and why RxDart was an interesting avenue for exploration. Sometimes, the journey teaches you more than the end result.
