During that time, we not only visited all four of Mashatu's beautiful camps, but we also explored all of the reserve's most scenic and game-rich areas, including a visit to the world famous Photo Mashatu underground hide. This is the first episode in a series of five about our adventure in Mashatu Game Reserve and basically gives you an overview of the reserve. I discuss the game viewing opportunities, the landscape and how the seasons differ. By the end of the video, you'll have a great idea of what Mashatu Game Reserve looks like, what you can expect to see there and when you should go on safari. In the upcoming four videos, episodes 2-5, we visit Mashatu's four camps: Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu, Mashatu Lodge, Mashatu Tent Camp and Mashatu Euphorbia Villas.
