At the Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2026 at the Agra grounds in Leipzig, Markus Wilmsmann talks with monitor engineer Marco Paschke and backliner Matze Vogel about the special requirements behind and on stage. Matze Vogel explains why a piece of metal that looks like scrap to outsiders can't simply be replaced. Each of these instruments has a specific sound and requires a suitable method of recording.
