I spent 10 days in four indigenous riverside communities in the Amazon Rainforest in the upper Rio Negro region of the Amazon with the Serras Guerreiras de Tapuruquara Expedition, a community-based tourism initiative resulting from a partnership between FOIRN, ACIR, and ISA, among other NGOs, with the aim of creating *an opportunity for exchange and access to the communities in the region.
