Hiking with Wild Ponies at Grayson Highlands State Park: Horse Trail North | Vlog

Grayson Highlands State Park is the most unique state park in Virginia! Here, you can hike with wild ponies and see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We took the Horse Trail North towards the most popular spot for seeing wild ponies. It's such an easy hike, considering how big the pay off is! This state park is near Mount Rogers National Recreation Area in Mouth of Wilson, VA. It's the only section of the Appalachian Trail in which you'll be able to walk alongside wild ponies. We did a bit of bouldering, as well, while taking in the spectacular scenery. This hike is a must-do if you love wildlife and mountain views!
