2nd South Carolina String Band ~ LAST GASP CONCERT~ PART 2
This was the second half of the last live concert by the legendary 2nd South Carolina String Band, performed in Gettysburg PA, the evening of November 15th, 2024, Remembrance Day weekend, at the Gettysburg Middle School Auditorium for the benefit of the Lomas Center Museum of Gettysburg. Recorded and streamed live that night, it was enthusiastically received by an audience of more than 600 long-time fans and supporters. Running nearly 1 hour, 20 minutes, this rollicking video features 16 more of the band’s most popular songs as regularly ranked by Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon.com. It concludes with a phenomenal, not-to-be-missed rendition of their overwhelmingly popular signature closing songs - “Southern Soldier” & “Dixie’s Land”. When viewed in combination with the earlier release of Part One, these videos together will essentially comprise the 2nd South Carolina String Band’s “Greatest Hits.” After five years in retirement, we feel we were blessed to have had this opportunity to offer this last performance in appreciation of our now truly countless fans and supporters, here and - amazingly - literally around the world. We hope you enjoy these songs. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we encourage one and all to follow our channel for further video releases.
