The Stranger Who Become Home

He wasn't the man I imagined falling in love with. We were introduced by a friend who, years later, would become my sister-in-law. At the time, my first impression wasn't exactly romantic—a guy with spiky hair, braces, a perfectly ironed shirt, and dance moves that looked more like a robot than a dancer. I laughed and never imagined he would one day become my husband, my best friend, and the love of my life. One of his favourite stories to tell our son was about the time I gave him cough syrup when he was unwell. He would jokingly claim that I had "drugged" him and that's why he fell in love with me. Every time he told the story, he laughed as if it were the funniest thing in the world. It became one of those family stories that never grew old. What started as a simple introduction became a lifetime of laughter, adventures, inside jokes, and love. This song is a tribute to the man who entered my life as a stranger, became my home, and left us with stories that still bring a smile to our faces. If I had the chance to live it all again, I would still choose him.
