“I’ll Find You There” is one of the most personal and emotionally difficult songs we have ever created. The song tells the story of love after loss. Of growing older while carrying someone’s memory through every quiet moment of life. It follows the perspective of someone left behind after losing the person they spent their life beside - still speaking their name in silence, still feeling their presence in ordinary moments, still loving someone whose absence quietly fills every room. This song was written around the feeling that love does not disappear with time. It settles into memories, familiar routines, empty spaces beside you at night, and all the little things that continue to carry part of the person you lost. The arrangement was intentionally kept fragile and intimate: only piano, Ashley’s voice, and silence left breathing between the words. Recording this song in the studio became emotionally overwhelming at times. There were tears during several takes because the emotions behind the lyrics felt deeply real to everyone in the room. To reach the emotion inside the song, Ashley imagined herself many years in the future - older, alone, and living with the memory of losing Jack. That feeling stayed in the studio while recording.
