Outback Multi-Day Hike - Mount Giles Expedition

This is a multi-day (3 day, 2 night) hiking expedition in the Australian outback, deep in the West MacDonnell Ranges of the Northern Territory, exploring remote sections of the Larapinta Trail around Mount Giles. The journey began at Ormiston Gorge before heading further into the outback landscape, eventually reaching a remote camp within the vicinity of Mount Giles. The following morning I pushed to the summit, taking in endless views across the Red Centre before beginning the long journey back through the desert. With extreme heat, rugged terrain, limited water, and complete isolation, this was one of the most demanding and rewarding hiking experiences I've had in the Australian outback. If you're into multi-day hiking, overnight hiking, backpacking, remote bushwalking, wild camping, or exploring Australia's outback, this adventure is for you.
