Hey "There are many paths to the Brocken – but only one through hell." And that's exactly the path we took. 🎒 This tour isn't for beginners – but a dream for anyone who wants to experience the Harz Mountains in a wild, raw, and intense way. Together with my hiking buddy Marc, I embarked on one of the most impressive adventures in the Harz: A circular tour that's a challenge – not only in terms of scenery, but also in terms of fitness. We started in Wernigerode, right next to the Steinerne Renne, a spectacular waterfall with a rugged rocky landscape. From there, our route led us along the legendary Höllenstieg (Hell's Climb) – a steep, narrow, and rocky path that truly lives up to its name. Sweat, burning calves, slippery steps, and a real battle against the altitude – but every step was worth it. On partly alpine trails, the likes of which are rarely found in the Harz. You'll experience impressive natural scenery, steep climbs, and breathtaking views with us. Once we reached the summit, the legendary Brocken awaited us – mystical, windy, epic. But our adventure was far from over: On the way back, we continued over the Brockenkinder (small peaks surrounding the Brocken) to the impressive Zeterklippe – a real insider tip with a stunning view – and then back to the valley via the Steinerne Renne inn.
