IBIZA : LES DERNIERS HIPPIES

Located in the Mediterranean, off the coast of Spain, Ibiza is the most unique island in the Balearic archipelago. Formerly poor and isolated, the island is today one of the most famous tourist places on the planet, thanks to its beaches, its transparent blue waters and above all its uninhibited nightlife. Its huge clubs, star DJs and spectacular parties attract nearly three million young tourists from all over the world to party without the slightest restraint. There is also another Ibiza, much wilder and secret, totally unknown to tourists. A rural and preserved island where the last hippies of Ibiza live hidden, in cabins lost at the bottom of small valleys or in caves. For them, the island remains a magical and mystical destination, where the soul blossoms, far from clichés and artifice, and where we still live on love and fresh water. For a whole summer, we followed extraordinary characters who make Ibiza a unique destination. There is Pascal, the 72-year-old former hippie who became a hermit. His lifestyle is unlike any other. There is also Ishmael, nicknamed the last rebel. He lives in a cliff, on the edge of a precipice, overlooking the waters of the Mediterranean. We also participated in amazing hippie parties, very different from the trendy nights at nightclubs. We finally shared, exclusively, the daily life of one of the island's star DJs, Bob Sinclar. Between amazing parties and secret places, you will discover this magnificent Balearic island as you have never seen it before. Director: Hervé Bouchaud
