Trafficker Gets Snitched On, Becomes Enraged

Lake City, FL [07:36 PM] 05/29/2022 An officer was sitting stationary on US 90. A Blue Ford F-150 passed him. Recognizing the vehicle from a previous stop, the officer decided to pull out and get behind the truck - to confirm that everything was valid (previously it had not been). As soon as the officer pulled out, the vehicle slowed drastically and changed lane. The vehicle then abruptly made a right turn. The officer followed and ran the tag - everything was valid so he passed the vehicle. The officer stopped just west of Cherokee and observed the truck turn around to come back out to US 90, less than a minute since it turned down there. Upon sight of his patrol car, the vehicle then reversed back down Cherokee out of sight. Based on the behavior, he had suspicions that it may be involved in criminal activity and was possibly trying to elude him. Due to this, he decided to make a consensual encounter to ensure everything was ok and attempt to identify to occupants. As he pulled on to Cherokee, the vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road. He parked to allow them plenty of room to exit US 90. The other female deputy pulled up at the same time. As he exited his patrol car, the driver and passenger immediately exited the truck. He immediately recognized the driver from previous encounters. The rest of the incident can be seen in the footage.
