All NEW sheet metal on a '69 Charger - how we gapped the car and aligned it all in metal

In this video, we are finalizing the gap and sheet metal work on the 1969 Dodge Charger here at Carthage Classic Cars. We open the video with the Charger in all e coat with no filler on the car, showing the gap work prior to us stripping it down to protect it in epoxy primer. After introducing this project and our process, we show how we had previously installed the USCAR tool subframe connectors followed by the USCAR tool front and rear torque boxes. We then remove the Charger from the frame jig fixture and tackle the gap work, highlighting how we cut and grind back the doors. We show the TIG welding process and explain why it's the best option for working with the external body. We also show how we align panels with slide hammers and slappers. Following the gap work, we show our process for prepping the bare metal car parts to ensure the epoxy primer adheres to the metal. Next is the final assembly of the car, showing how, once the car is gapped properly, we can assemble it without the help of frame tables. We close out the video with a final walk around, explaining how the final product we provide to the owner of this '69 Charger compares to the neighboring '68 Charger with a factory front sheet metal on it.
