Van Life On America's Empty (But AMAZING) West Coast
📷 Instagram:   / geolex.travels  -- About a year ago, Geoff created a video on his ‪@GeographyByGeoff‬ channel about an odd area of the west coast that seemingly didn't have very many people living on it. And he termed this area: America's Empty West Coast. This video struck a chord with a lot of people who also wondered the same exact thing. You can watch that video here if you want:    • Why So Few Americans Live In This HUGE Are...  In this video, Geoff and Alexa are hitting the road to go explore this exact region, in person! And to do it they've rented a vanlife van. Together, with their van, they'll explore why Coos Bay, Oregon never grew to become a larger city, why Face Rock, Oregon is one of the most picturesque stops you can make, what makes the Coast Mountain Range so hard to traverse, and why Redwood Trees ONLY grow naturally in this exact region. It's gonna be a fun, if slightly bumpy, ride so... hang on! -- This video was filmed on a DJI Pocket 3 and GoPro 13. It was shot over a 72 hour period in January, 2025. No part of the video was sponsored in any way.
