Finn Never Got to Be a Child And You Didn't Notice
There's an episode where Finn crawls into a cushion fort and lives an entire human life on the other side. He grows up. Falls in love. Has children. Gets old. Dies. And then he comes back through the fort and Jake asks if he's okay and Finn just says yeah and they move on. He was nine years old and he dreamed about dying of old age and that being enough. That episode is called Puhoy and it is the saddest thing in Adventure Time. Not because of what happens in it. Because of what it reveals about what Finn never had on this side of the fort. He was abandoned as a baby, raised by dogs, had no human peers, was fighting liches and cosmic threats by age twelve, and built his entire identity around being needed before he ever got the chance to figure out what he actually needed. This video makes that case. Clearly and as painfully as it deserves. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📺 EPISODES COVERED IN THIS VIDEO Memories of Boom Boom Mountain (Season 1) His Hero (Season 2) Dad's Dungeon (Season 3) Escape from the Citadel (Season 5) Puhoy (Season 5) The Vault (Season 5) The Tower (Season 6) Breezy (Season 6) Blank Eyed Girl (Season 6) Flute Spell (Season 7) Min and Marty (Islands Miniseries, Season 8) Come Along With Me (Season 10 Finale) Together Again (Distant Lands) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⏱ CHAPTERS [00:00] — The saddest episode in the show and what it's actually about [01:30] — What Finn's early life actually looked like [03:00] — The vault and what he was putting in it [04:30] — Losing his arm at fourteen and why the show moved on too fast [05:45] — What Jake couldn't give him and why that matters [07:00] — Breezy and the episode where he stopped feeling anything [08:15] — What Puhoy was really telling us all along ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The vault got full eventually. Everything he locked away came back. The show knew that. It just never gave him someone who could sit with him inside it long enough for it to actually empty out. That detail is in here too. If this one hit somewhere real leave a like, it helps the channel more than you'd think. Subscribe if you're new because this is exactly the kind of content we make here and there's a lot more coming. And drop a comment telling me which moment in the show made you realize Finn was carrying more than the show ever fully said out loud. Because I think a lot of you already knew something was off. This video just puts words to it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ #AdventureTime #FinnTheHuman #AdventureTimeLore #CartoonAnalysis #AdventureTimeTheory #CartoonNetwork #AnimationAnalysis #AdventureTimeExplained #Puhoy #AdventureTimeFinale
