Acting on a tip-off, the Plant Site Police conducted a surprise raid early this morning at Meenapada, where a major drug racket was being operated. The operation resulted in the seizure of 220 grams of high-grade brown sugar, along with ₹2.70 lakh in cash and 3 mobile phones. A total of 8 individuals, including 6 women, have been taken into custody in connection with this racket.
