Spring Steelhead on the Manistee River | Centerpin Fishing with Matt Cox

Early spring steelhead fishing on Michigan’s Manistee River with my buddy Matt Cox. The river had that perfect green color after some rain and snow melt, and we were able to hook into a couple beautiful steelhead while learning the Colville centerpin setup. Today we were running Colville centerpin reels paired with Nova Chrome centerpin rods, fishing Nova floats and Bloop beads. The Tallywhacker Bloop bead ended up being the hot bead of the day and produced both fish.
