The Australian Adventure at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. Filmed July 15, 2022. For the first time on an Exhibit Tour we’re venturing into the Australian outback. On our journey we’ll come across the familiar faces of Kangaroos and Dingoes, as well as some reptiles and a number of colorful birds. We’ll also make a stop at The Reef, where we’ll enjoy the tranquil vibes on the Moon Jelly, the imposing venomous Lionfish, the bright, flashy colors of the Great Barrier Reef and meet some of the reef’s larger predators. Throughout the tour I’ll explain how this area of the zoo was dramatically overhauled in 3 phases between 2014 and 2016. Although it’s a somewhat outdated source now, this was named by 2008 Traveler’s Guide to America’s Best Zoos and the number 1 place in the country to see Australian Animals!
