In today's vlog, my friends and I set out on a mission to find authentic Manipuri food in Delhi! We had previously tasted homemade Manipuri dishes prepared by our colleagues from Manipur, and the flavors were absolutely amazing. Ever since then, I became a big fan of Manipuri food and wanted to experience it at a restaurant. But finding the restaurant wasn't easy! We spent a long time searching around Humayunpur/Safdarjung, Delhi, asking local people for recommendations before finally reaching a restaurant that was said to serve some of the best Manipuri food in the area. We tried a pork thali and later visited another restaurant to try pork fry. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite match our expectations. Some dishes we wanted to try were unavailable, the local rice beer was already finished, and my friends ended up feeling quite disappointed.
