Stories to Stage: Voices of Resilience

A collaboration between Taylor's Education Group and Refuge For The Refugees (RFTR). This reflects Taylor’s commitment to building a more inclusive and socially resilient future, through creating opportunities for refugee communities to engage, contribute and be seen, fostering greater understanding, and strengthening social cohesion. During the first meeting with the facilitators, Joe & Jerry, the refugee students arrived shy, uncertain, and hesitant to share their dreams. However, after weeks of music, storytelling, acting, and collaboration, they found their confidence on the stage. "I Wanna Be! The Musical", the fruits of their effort, was successfully presented during ESG Festival 6.0. Performed by refugee students and Taylor's students together, it was a performance built from their own stories, ambitions, and voices. Sustainability is not only about protecting the future, it's about empowering the people who will shape it. When we invest in young people, give them a voice, and create spaces where they can be seen and heard, we build a more inclusive and sustainable future for everyone. Every voice matters.
