In 2012, one of the world's most influential artists The Beach Boys celebrated the band's 50 years. Their musical success of upbeat surf sound and perfect harmonies won the hearts the world over. But behind the feel-good tunes, The Beach Boys were going through all kinds of hell - from drugs to legal spats, and deaths of key band members. On their 50th anniversary, co-founder Brian Wilson reflected on his personal struggles that inadvertently made him the creative genius he became known for.
