[UN ÉTÉ SOLIDAIRE] Avec les bénévoles de la mine d'Hussigny-Godbrange

On December 31, 1978, the Hussigny-Godbrange mine closed its doors. Since 1996, volunteers from the interregional association A.H.I. have been working to preserve the memory of the mine and the miners who worked there in 1878. These volunteers, some of whom are former miners, have recreated a museum, a miniature train, and numerous interactive exhibits deep within the mine, using original tools and machinery. Tours are organized, particularly for tourist groups, offering two-hour visits to the heart of the mine. We followed these volunteers and the ILGC senior citizens' association from Villerupt.
