November 5, 2024 Seasonal Herbaceous Wetlands are almost invisible, until enough rainfall coaxes them back to life. When revived, they burst on the scene with rare plants and wondrous creatures, many of which have dormant for years. Dr Michelle Casanova has a profound understanding of these glorious ephemeral patches. She co-nominated the community under the federal EPBC Act for this amazing ecological community which is now listed as critically endangered.
