Sehari di Pura Mangkunegaran: dari Dapur hingga Kirab Pusaka 1 Suro 2026

The Mangkunegaran Palace in Solo, Central Java, held a procession of heirlooms (pusaka) attended by thousands of participants from several regions. Before entering the peak of the procession, the procession began with an afternoon reception. Executive Chef of Pracimasana, Wayan Ari Wibowo, explained that there were special dishes rich in meaning. The main course was sego golong (rice cake). This dish was once used as provisions for soldiers. After the afternoon reception, the procession participants began to arrive. The atmosphere grew solemn as the procession of heirlooms (dalem tapa bisu) began, with participants from various regions walking in silence as a symbol of introspection. The tradition continued with the distribution of udik-udik (traditional gifts) filled with hope and meaning. After all the processions were completed, the participants then meditated at the Pendopo Ageng. Watch the full video below!
