Balada (Tchê Tcherere Tchê Tchê) - Gusttavo Lima, arr. Johny Ocean - Concert Band Version
‘Balada (Tchê Tcherere Tchê Tchê)’ is a song based on the forró rhythm by Brazilian singer Gusttavo Lima. It was released on 21 January 2011 and became a worldwide success. A ‘Balada’ has several meanings: it is an epic poem or song that tells a story, a quiet, sentimental pop song, or a French term for a walk or song. In early August 2012, ‘Balada (Tchê Tcherere Tchê Tchê)’ made history in the charts when it spent no less than thirteen weeks at number 1. Johny Ocean wrote a southern-sounding arrangement for concert band, fanfare and brass band.
