The case, which shocked Cirebon residents, came to light after the victim, with the initials S, reported the incident to the Cirebon City Police on Friday (May 29, 2026). In less than 24 hours, the police arrested the alleged perpetrator along with several pieces of evidence. The Head of the Cirebon City Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Fadlillah, said that H is suspected of playing a central role in the production and distribution of the obscene video. "The suspect's role was to create and distribute videos containing indecent content on media platform X and also to a resident of Cirebon City," said Fadlillah during a press conference at Cirebon City Police Headquarters on Saturday (May 30, 2026). Police stated that the arrest was made the same day after the victim received a report. "On Friday, the suspect immediately filed a police report. On the same Friday, we arrested Mr. H," he said. Investigators seized a cell phone and a flash drive containing a video recording of the victim from the suspect. "From Mr. H, the suspect, we seized a blue Infinix Hot cellphone and a flash drive containing a video recording of Mr. S, the victim, containing indecent content," he explained. Based on preliminary investigations, the case began in 2024 when H informed the victim that a nude photo of her was circulating on social media platform X. The panicked victim then asked H for help in deleting the photo. However, according to the police, the suspect took advantage of the situation to control the victim. "Brother H then said that in order for the photo to be deleted, Brother S had to make a video containing obscene content as requested on the social media account in question," he said. Believing the information the perpetrator provided, the victim followed the instructions. The victim was then directed to a hotel in Cirebon City that had been arranged by the suspect. "At the hotel, Brother S was asked to engage in deviant intercourse with a masseuse H had arranged, while Brother H recorded the entire activity using a recording device," he said. It didn't stop there, about two months later, the victim was again asked to make a similar video for the same reason. "Based on this request, Brother S again complied with Brother H's instructions. At another hotel, Brother S was asked to have an orgasm, and this was also recorded by Brother H," said Fadlillah. Police revealed that the victim complied with the perpetrator's demands under pressure. In fact, the photo used to scare the victim turned out not to be a real one. "So the origin of the incident was that Mr. S was shown a nude photo. It turned out to be AI-edited. It was to threaten Mr. S. If he didn't follow Mr. H's instructions, it would be distributed," he explained. According to him, so far only one victim is known to have been recorded in the video. However, the suspect is suspected of trying to find other victims. "Of the victims who have been recorded, thank God, only Mr. S, the only one. So, RS was his second potential victim. Thank God, Mr. RS didn't follow his instructions," he said. Police suspect that H is using the case of the first victim to convince other potential victims. "Mr. H is still seeking victims, telling them it's safe, 'we've done it before,'" he said. Investigators are currently investigating the possibility of other parties being involved and the alleged material gain from the distribution of the video. "We are currently investigating the material gain because we see it has been distributed on media outlet X," said Fadlillah.
