Many foreigners - myself included - have tried to find a way to get between the Baltic capitals by train. It’s not ridiculous to think that something like this SHOULD exist by now. After all, people often see products like the EuRail pass and assume that all of Europe is connected by passenger rail services. Most of it is. But Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are an exception. The Rail Baltica project will hopefully help... but it's quite a few years away!
