Davies Canyon, Kanangra, NSW

A Sydney Bushwalkers' weekend trip down Davies canyon at Kanangra, NSW, Australia. 14-15 April 2012. An excellent bushwalk through rugged terrain with the added excitement of 10 abseils, the longest being 55m. We left the Kanangra Road at 7.45am and reached Whalania Creek at 5.30pm. We returned via Whalania Falls. Timings: 2.5 hours to Sally Camp Creek above 1st abseil 2.5 hours from top of 1st to bottom of 4th abseils 3 hours to Whalania Creek junction 4 hours from junction to top of Whalania Falls 3 hours cross-country back to King Pin Fire Trail
