I wanted to try the Gen Y Hitch on our new fifth wheel RV to allow for more space in the bed of the truck than we had with the Companion fifth wheel hitch. Turns out, this hitch is not terribly hard to install by yourself, but if you can get help, I'd definitely try that option first!
