KKB Papua Bakar Pesawat AMA dan Tewaskan Pilot AS, 36 Personel Evakuasi Korban

The Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) reportedly burned a Pilatus aircraft belonging to PT AMA, registered PKRCY, and shot the American pilot, Nicholas F. Goselin, in Yahukimo, Papua Mountains. The incident occurred on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. WIT. Video footage shows the AMA aircraft's fuselage charred. The American pilot was also reportedly killed after being shot by members of the Papuan KKB. Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, Head of the Public Relations Task Force for the Cartenz 2026 Peaceful Operation, stated that 36 personnel were deployed to the location to handle the situation and evacuate the AMA pilot.
