Budget Crosskart Build #7: Foot Controls and Steering
I finished up the seat and tackled the steering and pedals. Since this kart does not have a clutch I'm running the steering rack on the back side of the steering hub to allow steering geometry for ackerman. Lack of ackerman in my other karts has never been an issue, but since I have the option I may as well try it out. The pedals you see in the video are kind of a "rough draft"; I am going to re-do them in the same method but make them so they bolt to the kart instead of weld in (so they are adjustable). Just a simple change that I will highlight in a future video. Thank you for tuning in. -Kyle Plans available here: https://kj-raycing.dpdcart.com Facebook KJ Raycing Once you have the plans come join the build discussion Facebook Build Group (KJ Raycing VF-1 and VF-2 Kart Builders) / 905565813954510 Instagram @kjraycing RogueFab https://www.roguefab.com/ DISCLAIMER Videos are for entertainment only, work performed in the video should only be accomplished by a professional technician.
