Someone Tried To RIDE OFF With My Bike - 7AM Sunday Deliveroo Shift in Birmingham

I went online with Deliveroo and Uber Eats just after 7am on a Sunday morning to see what Birmingham is like before most people have even opened one eye. The plan was simple: beat the heat, catch a few breakfast orders, avoid spilling coffee everywhere, and see if an early Sunday shift was actually worth doing. Naturally, Birmingham had other ideas. Within the first order, some drunk lads started messing with my bike outside Sainsbury’s, one of them tried getting on it, and I ended up rejecting the order because I didn’t fancy leaving the bike there. Then, somehow, the same order came back again anyway. Classic.
