VW Camper - A Tour of our 1979 T2 Bay Window Camper Van
This is a basic tour around our 1979 VW Type 2 late bay camper van in baby blue. It’s an original Devon conversion. The interior is all original. It’s a pop top camper with a 2 litre air cooled ‘pancake’ engine. We have fitted a 180 watt solar panel to the roof which charges a 100Ah 12v gel deep cycle leisure battery which powers the fridge and a couple of USB and cigarette lighter sockets. Another leisure battery in the engine bay powers the interior lights, radio and water tap, and this charges off the alternator though a traditional split charge system. Music by www.bensound.com
