Pitch Night Program at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Sierra Leone Campus (Dec 2022)

The Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project (SLEDP), with support from The World Bank, under the Ministry of Finance, organised two innovation and entrepreneurship Pitch Nights and one Hackathon each at Limkokwing University Sierra Leone Campus, and two other institutions respectively. The aim of the events is to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among students and the community they each serve in Sierra Leone. The second pitch program (December 2022) offered students and local entrepreneurs the platform to compete for a potential funding/prize while cultivating their innovations and businesses. Participants have been taken through a series of intensive workshops and mentoring sessions to help them rethink their businesses and crystallise their offerings.
