On this day, I left the coast, where I had camped on Torres beach, and went to see the southern canyons ITAIMBEZINHO and FORTALEZA. When I got there, the company that won the concession to manage the canyons had the idea of making tourists walk a few kilometers (unnecessarily) to visit the canyon. Itaimbezinho and Fortaleza are Brazilian canyons between the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, about 170 km from Porto Alegre. They are part of the Aparados da Serra National Park. Cambará do Sul is home to the Aparados da Serra National Park and the Serra Geral National Park, where, among many others, the well-known canyons of Itaimbezinho, Fortaleza, Churriado and Malacara are located. The Aparados da Serra National Park is also partly located in the municipality of Praia Grande, in the state of Santa Catarina, bathed by the Boi River, where there are numerous waterfalls, such as Leite de Moça and Braço Forte, which are the main ones. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ✅ BECOME A MEMBER OF THE CHANNEL AND WATCH THE VIDEOS IN ADVANCE!    / @thinoronha   ✅ CONTRIBUTE TO THE CHANNEL BY DONATING A PIX: [email protected] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Approximate total cost: R$2,700.00 including: gasoline (fuel only, approximately R$1,260.00) lodging (R$648.00) tolls two ferries food Vital Card travel insurance (covers motorcycle travel) - https://www.vitalcard.com.br monthly fee Spot Gen3 (R$ 90.00) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Itinerary 10 days of travel - 3650 km. During the return trip, I passed several navy lighthouses, in order: Chuí, Albardão, Sarita, Mostardas, Berta, Cidreira, Torres and, finally, Santa Marta Lighthouse. After traveling along Cassino beach, I continued to Mostradas, via BR 101, where the next day I went to the Mostardas Lighthouse, driving another 30 km (round trip) on the sand of the beach to reach this isolated lighthouse. From Mostardas I went to Torres, where I camped next to a beautiful beach. From Torres, I went to Cambará do Sul to see the Itaimbezinho and Fortaleza Canyons. To get to Cambará I went through Serra do Faxinal and to return I went through Serra da Rocinha. ...
