Hiking Mount Vesuvius in Italy | The Volcano That Destroyed Pompeii

We hiked Italy's Mount Vesuvius (Vesuvio), the famous volcano that detroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum. Vesuvius is located only a couple hours from Naples, Italy (Napoli, Italia), so it is a great daytrip and activity to do when visiting. In this travel vlog we take the bus from Ercolano to the Vesuvius National Park. The hike provides excellent views of Naples, Ischia, Capri, and the Sorrentine Peninsula. You also get excellent views into the crater/cone of the volcano, where of course history was made with the eruption the whole world came to know.
