Bald Eagle State Forest Overlanding - Northern Frontier - September 2021

Day 3 of a 3-day overlanding trip to Bald Eagle State Forest in central PA to do the Purple Lizard map routes with some friends and take Vader, an F150, 4Runner, and a stock Explorer deep into the forest. The trip wrapped up the final day on the Purple Lizard Northern Frontier Route and we do around 40 miles of roads and trails over 5 hours with some interesting trail bypasses along the way! After being dropped off at a parking lot in Millheim, the Explorer wasn't able to make it out for day 3 (good thing too) with its donut on the rear wheel still. This day was a perfect blend of mud, trail challenges, and beautiful views to wrap up the trip!
