Matt Scannell from Vertical Horizon at TEDxLaJolla

Matt Scannell is the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for the rock band Vertical Horizon. His song "Everything You Want" reached #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 and Adult Top 40 charts and was the most played song of 2000. Matt has written with artists such as Cassadee Pope, Daniel Powter, Gary Allan and Richard Marx. Vertical Horizon's albums have sold well over two million copies, and their latest release, 2013's Echoes from the Underground, charted in the Billboard Top 200.
