Bury 2026 R1 Summer ?? RC Racing , Kicking up a STORM!

The 2026 Summer Series kicked off at the mighty Bury Metro… and Mother Nature clearly didn’t get the memo. The storm hammered us overnight, and by morning we were greeted with torrential rain and wind gusts topping 60mph. Not exactly the dream conditions — but perfect for shaking up the leader board. With half the field scared off by the weather, there was a HUGE opportunity to grab some serious championship points. And then there’s me… After boldly declaring myself the “Fastest Mugen Seiki Driver in the UK”, it seems I may have ruffled a few feathers. Suddenly every man, his dog, and his dog’s brother turned up to try and prove me wrong. (Alright… it was only three extra racers, but you get the idea.) So the big question is: Will my ‘confident’ claims hold up — or am I about to be put firmly in my place? You’ll have to watch and find out. As a bonus, my lad was out there too, running his Yokomo and hungry to take some scalps of his own. Did he deliver? Did either of us?
