$1250 AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT GPU Review & Benchmarks (Sapphire Nitro+ Pure)

The AMD RX 6950 XT video card launched today. Sapphire sent an RX 6950 XT Nitro+ Pure for us to review. We're benchmarking it for power, thermals, gaming performance, and more. The RX 6950 XT draws a lot of power, but it does depend (to some extent) on which partner model you buy. The Sapphire Pure that we're looking at has heavier VBIOS power consumption than the AMD official spec, putting it close to 500W when overclocked. That's a lot of headroom, but also a lot of power, and ranks it alongside some of the more OC-focused NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti GPUs, like the EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FTW3.
