John Curry waxes lyrically about Janet Lynn

An excerpt from Ep.3 of Curry on Ice the BBC Daytime Learn to Skate series in the late 80s filmed at Dundonald Rink, Northern Ireland (where the Torvill & Dean biopic was filmed, a substitute for Nottingham's old stadium). John asked the pupils, a mix of children, Elite & Adult Skaters, what kind of music they liked? Then played the tape of Janet Lynn skating her World Championships 1st placed Free Program to Debussey's "Afternoon of a Faun" while John talked about it. A beautiful scene. Amongst the group was a young Neil Wilson, now Coach in Canada, Emma Murdoch Junior Champion & lzter Senior Medalist, and Sharon Coulson who I saw skate Pairs at the British Intermediate Championships at Lee Valley.
