QGIS Geo-referencing and Updating Map into Shapefile

QGIS Geo-referencing is the process of aligning a scanned map, satellite image, or raster image with real-world geographic coordinates so that it can be accurately displayed and used within a GIS environment. The geo-referenced map can then be digitized to create or update shapefiles containing geographic features such as roads, boundaries, utilities, water bodies, and infrastructure assets.
