Newton's 3 Laws of Motion! Science For Kids
What's are Newton's 3 Laws of Motion? Sir Isaac Newton was a famous scientist that lived almost 400 years ago. He is famous for learning and understanding how and why objects move – like when an apple falls to the ground from a tree. The first is called the Law of Inertia and explains why things move. It says that, “An object at rest stays at rest, and an object in motions stays in motion at its same speed and direction … unless acted upon by another force.” Newton’s second law talks about how objects change when a force acts on it. This law says, “The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.” Which brings us to Newton’s Third Law of Motion. For every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction. 00:00 Newton's 3 Laws of Motion 00:28 Newton’s First Law of Motion 00:55 Newton’s Second Law of Motion 02:10 Newton’s Third Law of Motion
